Are the 3rd gen mirrors plug and play direct bolt on with the 2nd gens?

Negative, a little drilling, a little sheet metal massaging, also my 2nd gen didnt come with mirrors turns so had to wire those.

Holy smokes man that looks insane. I have a 2nd gen and wish I had a 3rd gen just so I can buy meso’s badass turn signals. Do you have a write up?

Thanks. No write up, Some other guy did a small write up on putting 3rd gen mirrors on second gen. Its not that complicated if you buy a set just line up the bolts and drill the holes, and then hammer a little sheet metal so the bolts go through. The turn signals were a plug and play with the aftermarket ebay mirrors I bought

I just looked up the thread about it. Looks pretty simple. So with the aftermarket signals it’s plug and play for the power mirrors correct? But my only concern is how to wire up the turn signal part? Since I have an off road I don’t have them prewired.

Just have to tap the turn signal wires and run them through to door. If you have anymore questions you can PM me so we don't bog down this thread.

If you want to do this... all you have to do is use one wire. The main wire to turn it on... and connect it red wire (from relay) to the green wire (in the door) for both sides.

To be honest... the dimming is not as noticeable like the factory DRL LEDs. I say skip the bulshit and run it like this.
