    Lets call it "customized".

    http://www.arcticsnowplows.com/snowplows/poly-snowplows/standard

Mine is actually a hybrid between their "light" and "standard" setups, because they only offered a light duty kit for Tacoma along with a non-advertised option to combine the two. The problem with their light duty kit is that the actual mount is too close to the ground (means it hits parking curbs when you drive up to them), so I modified the truck mount into a standard duty mount (the *only* difference is that its 3 inches higher), which will fit a Tacoma just fine.

If I were to do it again, I'd go with the standard duty universal "weld it yourself" mount kit, which would save a LOT of grinding.

How would someone check the oil on that truck? Cherry picker? Lower a man down from a boom truck?

Whistles would be a good start. Also maybe modify how you drive around deer so you aren't mowing 'em down so often. While you can't anticipate a suicidal deer, I find slowing down when I know deer are out and about and keeping my eyes open helps.

IMO they are fugly but the ARB are probably the best deer defense. They look like they were made for a larger truck.

I remember so many close calls when driving on the pallisades. There are no fences and the median is like wooded a deer sanctuary.

Oh I thought it might be more brush guard-y looking.

Haha, no. Its snow plow-ish all the way. Although one could easily rig up something very solid to attach into the plow hitch. The "truck side" is basically just a pair of 3 inch receivers that the lift frame forks into.

There’s a guy on here who hit two black cows on a dark road at night doing like 70 with a Demello bumper and drove home.

There’s people who’ve had their Demerol bumpers for years and years on their off-roading rigs and they’re still good

Thanks. I drive usually between 3:30 and 6:00 in morning ( work dictates ). I do keep eyes opened - if I didn’t I might be up there with the Texas chap hitting 240. The number that I have’nt hit is infinitesimal.
    Do the whistles really work?
