The Terrible Troublesome Transmission

First day home from the beautiful Cocoa beach Florida so I decide to hope in the taco and head to the river for a little fishing. Most of the way she seemed fine. Kinda noticed a bit of a rough shift a few times but didnt think much of it.
Fished awhile (not much luck there) and hoped back in to head up river. While driving about 45 in what I assume would be fourth the truck started to jerk. Almost seemed like a constant slip. I let off the gas and it stopped, pressed the gas once more only to find her shaking again. Hoping it would help, I put the pedal down some causing the truck to shift up stopping the problem.
To make a long miserable story short I drove all the way back home occasionally running into this problem on slight inclines riding about 45. Im clueless as to whats goin on and plan on taking it to a local transmission shop in the morning but was wondering if anyone has had the same or similar problem.

 

sounds like the filter is getting clogged. best thing to do......drain the old oil out...drop the pan and clean the filter screen, and bolt pan back on. add new fluid. if it were i...i'd add some seafoam transmission additive as well.

sounds to me like either a clogged filter......or low on fluid.

 

I was really hoping it would be something along those lines. Id honestly rather take it and let a professional work on it as easy as it seems cause with my luck and my lack of knowledge i would end up screwing something up. Thanks for the response.
