Negative on that, did a pretty good inspection before heading back, and upon return. Gonna take them in to get balanced this weekend, followed by a 5 tire rotation

Yeah, Regear, 35s, and an LCE stage 2 clutch with 40lb flywheel are my projects this year. I have the clutch and fly wheel sitting in a box waiting install. The flywheel will help get some torque back

I wouldn't worry about it yet. Mine is at 115k miles and needs another throw out bearing

Update on my new set. Went wheeling about a month ago and no issues! Ran 9-10psi and they worked amazingly well. So I think what started my chunking was actually my pinch welds cutting into the tires at full flex. Then as those cut pieces dug in it ripped them out. Now that I've hammered them down I have nothing wrong with these tires.

Highly recommend! Best bang for the buck in my experience and opinion. And like I said they covered my chunking under warranty so that was impressive.

I am not sure what is going on with mine, but when I rotated them just the other day, they have become really really loud all of the sudden. Like bothersome loud. I dont know what changed.

all the noise comes from the rear.

My diff isnt making any noise, and i even greased my driveshaft so i dont think its that either.....it must be the tires...

I am worried. I might have to contact Falken because i do not want a tire to come apart on the highway or something.

I have really enjoyed these tires and have about 10k on them now. They are holding up great. They did chunk a little the first time i took them offroad, but they have seemingly worn in nicely.

I knew mud tires would end up being loud, but this was like someone snapped their fingers, and boom, now they are loud. Which is suspicious for sure.

Something to definitely look into, last thing you want is for it to become a safety issue. Staying tuned for your finding, appreciate the feedback

How do you rotate? Mine does this a for a little after a fresh rotation. What happens is your front tires develop a little bit of chop from being driven while turning and/or poor alignment, or combination of both. So when you put them to the back that edge from the chopping is getting worn down even again on the outer edges. Mine usually goes away in 200 miles or so. Sometimes more if the chop is real bad (could potentially never go away if its severe enough). Feel the outer lugs of your tread and see if they are smooth or feel/look chopped or feathered. That's 99% what the noise would be if it happened just after a fresh rotation. All mud terrains will do this, some more than others.

Attached is a very exaggerated picture of it but if you do a rotate where you cross the tires so they spin the opposite direction as before this noise will be much more prominent for the first few hundred miles. 54cae5ffa75c4_-_tire-wear-03-0312-de.jpg

    Thats what happened.

I moved the rears straight forward and crossed the passenger side front to driver’s side rear, and driver’s side front to passenger side rear. That is the direction I always rotate my tires in. I did it when they had 1100 on them and had no noises.

Now i just realized something that i have never done before....i went about 7400 miles without rotating them. Basically all winter. Wow. Thats why they are making noise for sure. Plus shame on me, i have never gone that long. I used to rotate my tires ever 2500-3000 miles when I had the time to do so. I’m just too distracted by life right now :(

I feel ya man. Finishing up my final semester in college while working full time. Pretty excited to be done and only have work to worry about.

But yeah that's definitely it then. I rotate mine the same way. Get good life out of them for a mud terrain. I had like 13k miles on my set when falken warrantied them with 75% life left. I'd say that's good mileage life from an MT.
