If that taco is all original body and truly has the diff lock, that's a decent price. Aren't those the better seats too?

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... :spy:

In other words, I lost what I intended to lose the moment I stepped on to the plane. The tables were not kind this trip.

    Still had an awesome time.

Hey you’re the one who likes to buy incomplete vehicles that’ll probably never work again, not me.

Oh how I’ve missed this place.

@Area51Runner You can see a very familiar neighborhood in the middle right of the photo.

Only pic I have on my phone, google grab from when it was still semi airworthy years ago. The wings are pulled off it now among other things, obviously doesn’t run

Trust me I tried. I had a two hour layover and Dan was two and a half hours from ORD, and you were a little over four.

Other one is unrelated, that’s just from googling the tail number, that’s at a field somewhere up in Washington, it has been flown since then but taken apart afterwards. I think that pic is from like 2004. Plane has been all over though, he used to fly it up to Alaska, no idea how he never died in it hahaha

Cause it's a 60s Cessena, even air travel stuff has it's breaking point for being worth the maintenance.

Well yeah, I wasn’t expecting it to be in great condition. Just curious why it was taken apart rather than just left to sit.

It’s been so long since I’ve ridden a Taxi I forgot how bad the drivers are. It’s like they have a death wish.

I'd imagine the parts are greater than the whole in terms of value. All together it's large trash, individually some can be recycled or resold. We have huge field of decommissioned aircraft in the desert, it's the biggest waste of space even in a place as useless as the desert around PHX and Tucson

Mojave Boneyard is the good one, that one has the widebody jets.
