They fit. Mine's under the driver seat, while my LOC and amp are under the passenger.

FWIW, I found a number of threads on this and similar topics when researching my upgrade. The Audio & Video forum is a good place to start. Crutchfield is a good place to get an idea of what's available/suitable. Armed with that info, visit a (couple of) local shop(s) to listen to various combos. (In the end, it's about what sounds good to you, rather than what anyone else used.) Narrow your choices and buy from where you get the best "bang for your buck." FWIW, I went with the following, which I think sounds great, coupled with my stock Head Unit...
    - AudioControl LC2i Line Out Converter
    - JL Audio XD200/2v2 Amp
    - Focal PS165V1 Speakers
    - Sound Ordnance B-8PTD Sub
Unless money is burning a hole in your pocket, comparison shop! I got all my stuff for an average of 40% off MSRP.

I added Hushmat and Noico Liner Sound Insulation when I did mine...

    Hello Everyone,

Thought I'd answer questions and post updates.

I had a 2006 Toyota Tacoma AccessCab PreRunner. It has a JL Audio Stealthbox that had a 10" inside and was awesome.

    I now have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner (AccessCab).

Yes, I have an aftermarket head unit. I went with the Kenwood KSC-SW11 due to a Black Friday sale.

    It is a 8 1/2" x 5 1/8" powered subwoofer 75 RMS that I put under the driver's seat.

I must say, I'm very disappointed with it. Didn't expect it to be like the JL Stealthbox, but wasn't hoping it would be this bad.

I can't use those subwoofer boxes that fit between the bench and center console because I keep one down with a toddler carseat.

So I'm back to looking for the best under car seat subwoofer that fits under our seat, whether powered or unpowered (with amp under the other seat).

I also ran into an issue fitting it under passenger seat with a bar under it . My driver's side didn't have that bar (is it supposed to?) so I put it underneath me.

I have a pioneer sub under the passenger. Works pretty well. Nothing spectacular and a pain to install perfect but I really like it. Heard kicker hideaway is ok too.

Current build in progress, using Skar RL-2000 on 2 Soundlab DC 8's. You can never have too much power :)

Under a front seat or is there room under the backseats? If Your tight on space, DD makes some AWSOME 6.5" dual voice coil subs that work AWSOME in a ported box and they only about $150 each.

No Skar sub's, they kinda suck under power, just Skar amp, using soundlab DC sub's. If you love Skar sub's... you would Marry DC or DD sub's :)
