I like them, but I don't have any experience with King or Fox to compare. I image they are similar in quality and your decision should be based on what style of shock you want. Icon shocks are digressive, more of a racing shock. I know a lot of people will say progressive and linear shocks are better than digressive and they are probably right, but that being said I have no complaints. It would be almost the equivalent of stage 9 minus the 2.5 rear shocks which I have the 2.0 extend travel. Last year I sent in the front coilovers to be services and I had them add the CDCV remote reservoirs. There is a lot of great information out there on the differences between Progressive, Linear and Digressive shocks so I think I would base my decision on that since Icon, King and Fox are about the same price.

    Hope that helps

Stuffed half an earplug in the large hole on the piezo speaker that beeps with locking/unlocking. Now the beep is just barely audible. Picked up the idea from another TW thread, very happy with the results. I always liked the beep, just not so damn loud

The ride is great. I thought i might notice a major difference, but I really don't except for feeling the bigger tires and being a little higher up. Its not any stiffer than before like some people say, and its just as smooth on the highway at 80mph. There also is not any noise difference from what I can tell. I am sure there probably is based on physics, but there isn't anything noticeable to me. I should be able to tell much more of a difference when i take it off road. I have my next camping trip planned for 2 weeks from today, so I will update after that. the shop said they set my front Icons to 3" and with nothing in the bed, it was completely level with the back. I have my old tires and wheels in the bed in the pictures i took so it looks like the front is a little higher. I plan to do measurements today once i drop off the old wheels and tires to a friend.

Although i probably could have welded a nut that would thread onto the shifter onto a cut off handle bar and done the same thing...

That code would lead me to the top of the pedal first. I will do some research to see if/where the connection is on the other end. When I had this issue before, it was the top of the pedal.

I’ve ran it for a year now and 20k. I’ve ran K&N for 20 years in vehicles, dirt bikes and ATV’s. I hear a little noise here and there about the oil getting on the MAF, but I have personally never had an issue.

    Extension anyone? LoL

Oh and if we’re rating difficulty, 4 out of 10. On the plug changing scale.
