    I’m not 100% positive on it but checking the softopper website the dimensions are pretty close for all three generations. The only thing I think you would have to do is mount it differently because 2nd & 3rd have the utility tracks for mounting. I currently have a 2nd gen softopper on my 3rd gen and the only difference between them was a little bit of height difference but works perfectly fine for me.
