Yeah you can’t. You need to swap to a non locker axle or fix the e locker

 

Unless your name is tyler then i install them and he gets better traction. But he doesn’t need a locker yet

Is the actuator bad? That goes out pretty often i hear in salt areas.Pretty $$$ for a oem one though there is a after market one

I haven’t really gotten into it. Got the truck for a really good price because the locker wasn’t working so I have a little extra$$$

Probably just a bad actuator. I just sold the one i had so idk of any good deals on one lol.
Though I think there is a way to cable operate it vs the electric motor.

 

Burned out? The lockers don't burn out, the actuators can get stuck or stop working but it's not a terribly expensive fix...cheaper than a new locker and a selectable e-locker is 10x better than an auto or full time locker, or LSD for that matter.

Does the RR Diff lock light come on the dash when you press the button?

 

@Sub-Zero has one in his IFS front on 37s and hasn't blown it up yet

 

They are good just $$$$$ and basically just a toyota e locker

 

Basically selectable like a arb but its a elocker not pneumatic

I've heard good things about the Harrops...the actuator isnt on the outside like the Toyota elocker which is nice to not have to worry about

The Toyota elockers are designed to only engage when you're in 4lo, once you're in 4lo press the button and the RR Diff lock dash light will flash and go solid once it locks. Sometimes (most times) it takes a a few feet or more of driving in a straightline or side to side to get it to line up and lock in place.

Hope it goes without saying but don't try this on the street, only on a loose traction surface

 

I have the basics down and will be doing the gray wire mod. Just never been equipped with one before
