We live about 1 mile from a Rail Road track. I have seen a train MAYBE 5 times in the 7 years I have lived in my house. I went to sleep around midnight last night, and fully planned on sleeping in today. DIDNT HAPPEN because some A HOLE driveing a trian decided to hang himself from the gawd dam train horn this morning! This thing was blowing for more than 10 mins.!! How much F'ing air do these thing hold!? WTF is he blowing his F;ing horn for SO LONG FOR!!!!!! As far as Im concerned, if some one is on the tracks at 3:30 in the F;ing morning, and one little blast from the horn doesnt get them out of the way JUST F'ING HIT THEM!!!!!!!

ps: Its 5:39 am here and I STILL here that F'ing train horn!!!!!!!! :frusty:

Just a bit. For the last hour and a half, I have been on the phone with every DAM recording the train bastards have in their system. There is a noise ordinance out here, and the trains ARE NOT supposed to blast thier horns more than twice. The only thing that gives me alittle peace is that MAYBE the dude opperating the train normaly works days, and is pissed that he got stuck in a train at night, SO, he is intentionally blowing the F'ing horn so people complain and he is no longer considered for this shift. Hel, thats what I would do. STILL, I had a fleeting thought of chaseing him down and punching him in the ear.

I wanted to sleep in late this morning, too, but woke up at 5 with a huge craving for Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. Ate some and have been up ever since.

Perhaps I should track him down and give his train a "horn mod"?

I've lived 1-2 miles from train tracks for the last 20 years. You should be able to sleep through the horns by now.

Normally, Im sure I do. But when some Ass Master lays on the F'ing thing for a LONG time, It gets my attension. FWIW, It started at around 3:30 or so, and at 5:40 I still hear him blaring the F'ing horn! If it wasnt a mechanical problem, I hope the guy was fired and kicked in the nuts.

I have no clue. It sure wasnt moveing very fast. Im 1 mile from it, so I couldnt see it. If it was closer, there would be a news report tonight about a train opperator that had his horn jammed in his ass.

That sucks, while in Texas one year on vacation none the less, a disgruntled employee of the railroad hopped in a train, locked the door and tied the horn to the on position, it would blare for about ten minutes until the system would run out of air, he would let it build up and then start again. He was in real danger from the fine citizens of San Antonio, the police brought in the riot control team had was just about to set off the gas and then it all ended, I never heard how it did, just glad it did, this took place between the hours of 11:00 am - 2:00 am.

Dust off your trailer hitch and tow this to where that jerkoff lives. I'm sure the Captain will be more than happy to help ya out.

ummmmm........pay no attention to the voice, though he does appear to be a "little light in the loafers", I like the shot where the horn "thscares him" and he almost drops his camera.
