Long shot... i need to replace 1 tire due to a large piece of metal that punctured it beyond repair.

Anyone have 1 or 2 Discoverer AT3 265/75/16 (116 standard load rating, passenger) tire for sale? interested in new to ~15,000 mile tire condition tires. Located in Orange county, Southern California. I will replace my spare tire with one of the old AT3's I have on my truck now if possible.

Also need to replace all 4 TPMS sensors but those sensors have been ordered new.

A bunch of the same stuff everybody else has already done.
Love the looks and balance of on/off road performance of the AT3 XLT, any body run these and the Falken Wildpeaks AT3w? Comparison ? Which is better at what? Jeesh buying tires is hard... I really love the looks and capability of the AT3 xlt but that falken wildpeak price is hard to overlook for what they are...

I had AT3Ws before I switched to XLTs...
I feel like the AT3Ws are quiet but these XLTs are quieter... also the AT3Ws are P rated then these XLTs are LT but I feel like the ride the same...

I am definitely very Happy with these tires...

What did you have to do to clear those 295’s? I like that size.

    1. Aggressive Cab mount chop.
    2. Pinch weld hammer.
    3. Lots of inner fender cutting.
    4. Some fender flare trimming at front and back bottom corners.
    5. Alignment with as much +caster as possible.
...no rubbing at all now. Wheel offset matters a lot regarding how much or how little you’ll rub though.

Nice. Thanks for the feedback on that. I’m thinking about those in 285 or 295.

Here’s an update after a few thousand miles, the tire shop had to re balance but they seem to ride great now, pretty much no road noise. Handle well in all conditions, even deep snow and light mud. Seem to be really grippy tires

Stock AT gearing. Would re-gear before ever going to 35’s. Stock gearing works well with 295/75 or 295/70 imo.

Have now had my AT3 4S's on for 25,000 on my 3rd gen and they have barely worn at all in the last 10k or so. About 10 to 11/32nds all around. I always say that I rarely get more than 25k out of a tire before I find the performance starts to suffer - even though there is tread left. Not only are these tires holding up in terms of tread life but they perform as well if not better than they did new last summer. At this point I have no doubt I'll be able to get 50k or more out of these tires. money very well spent and they kick ass off road, in wet conditions, mud, etc.,

My 4S’s are living up to their 4 seasons name. Breakup (aka mud season) is in full effect in Alaska, and these tires keep amazing me. The snow is gone, that pic is from a couple weeks ago, and we had our first small rain storms yesterday. Lots of mud but these tires don’t care!
