I sat down with paper, crayon, an a calculator an figured out everything. I’m out only like 20 bucks I can live with that. Where I lost money was buying them to begin with an the shock relocate thingys.

I’m telling you these ride better than the kings I had. Even in the new owners truck he commented they were stiffer but liked the ride.
The icons just feel a little softer is all

Ya I’ve gone thru quite a few just so hard for me to find something I really like. It’s fun though I’ve been fortunate not to have to pay for every single one. After the rear is done with the upcoming stuff I should be good.

 

I have been playing with my suspension for years, but I recently put on a stock 3rd GEN suspension/ wheels and stock sized tires. I haven’t been wheeling the truck anymore in favor of a side-by-side ATV. One day I might lift it and play again, but who knows. That’s what makes it fun.

 

Do you have to cut the bed at all for the shock relocate? Is the main reason for doing this to get longer travel shocks and more droop?

 

No cutting of the bed just the stock upper shock mount on the frame an the mount on the axle. Then new mounts will be melted on.
Yep longer shocks for more droop from what I’ve read with 12in shocks average is an extra 4in of droop.

I wonder if my ADS can be rebuilt as 12" shocks? It's about time to get all the shocks rebuilt. I'm gonna have to call ADS Monday I think

 

That’s a smart idea I bet they can.

 

I sold my stock rear shocks. I still have the fronts tho. This will take some coordination but it's doable. Damn u Matt and Thank you too lololol
