Just got my trucks 10K mile service done this morning and the tech told me that a recall dropped yesterday (3/28) that is going to require a calibration of the "radar" sensor and several replacement parts on the grill. He took a picture of the grill on my truck to make sure to get the right parts. I'm running an aftermarket Pro grill with the shiny bezel covering the radar sensor. Everything works fine, but I'm wondering, since all my stuff is aftermarket if any of the OEM replacement stuff is going to have problems fitting? I did a quick Google search and searched the forum before posting and didn't find anything like what the tech was talking about. I have to take my truck back in a few weeks once they get the parts in for the recall. Has anybody heard anything on this?

Is it an actual recall? Or, is it just another Toyota Service Bulletin (TSB)?

Says Open Recall on my paperwork. Also shows that it requires 3 parts.

Well shit, this could get interesting considering the number of people running non-standard aftermarket grills.

Does the paperwork include a list of specific parts that need to be replaced?

No, it just gives the number of parts. No additional info.

Ask the OP of the thread I linked. Afaik that is the only new recall/tab to recently pop up.

It does read like what the tech was talking about this morning. Although I'm not sure why he'd need to take a picture of my grill if all they are going to do is put some silicone around the bezel. He did mention a recalibration to the sensor. Maybe that's necessary if they have to remove the grill? Just guessing.
