I just picked up a second set of black chrome sport headlights as a spare pair and noticed that the front mounting tab are broken off.

I just wanted to know if these tabs can be replaced or if anyone has fixed the same issue?

Circled in red are the tabs that are broken off:

They are molded plastic so they cant be replaced. Though I have taken broken taps off "unusable" lights and molded it back onto a usable light without any problems. Not pretty but it does the job. High power heat gun will do.

You've still got 3 screws holding it down, may not even be an issue?

I thought about cutting another piece of thick plastic and molding it or plastic welding it onto the existing tab and drilling out a mounting hole. May try that this week.

I generally dont use the outer square mounting tab because its too much trouble getting into the fender liners to bolt it down. Generally (when not broken) the front tab is just enough with the two on top to secure them.

Totally agree. When I took my headlights out to paint the bezels, it took me forever to get that bolt out. Worst part was taking apart the fender liner and breaking half the clips.

Then when I went to reinstall them, I couldn't get the bolts to line up with the tabs properly so I gave up and didnt install them.
