Thanks! After the mail in rebate, It was around $110 per tire. I kept the stock size, I don't plan on lifting the truck and didn't want to lose MPG or rub.

I know I'm an outlier but I have 87,800 miles on my set that I put on in February 2017 and the tread is still good to go....plenty of depth left. I do a ton of highway miles and don't really drive it hard. Should I replace them anyway or drive them until the tread depth gets to replacement level?

I generally drove mine till theres not much tread left on them, but was in an accident last year where I hydroplaned and rolled my truck. I thought I still had the summer left in those tires easy but the accident definatly changed my idea of when I’m gonna replace my next set.

so i have a 2nd gen with 3rd gen OR struts, gave me about a 1in lift up front. question is can i run 265/75/16 with no problem or will they rub? i will be installing some 1.5" wheel spacers if that helps at all.

Are the rim stock, or aftermarket? If you have aftermarket rims, especially with a smaller offset/backspacing, you might rub with the spacers. I had 1.25" spacers with a 0 offset rim, and the same tire size, and I was rubbing.

Then you should be fine, the offset on those is pretty big, you shouldn't run into the cab mount or the pinch weld, or any of the plastic mud flaps. But obviously can't be sure until you put them on.

Was looking at getting these in 285/75r16 but was hoping to find them in less than 10ply. For those that went 10ply, are you happy? I currently run some cheap 285/75r16 and was hoping I could go with a lighter setup but found I'd have to buy a 17in rim if I wanted to go the same size but in a lower rating and can't decide if the cost is worth it. Please let me know how you like the 285/75r16 10plys

I had 1.25" wheel spacers on my 2nd gen with stock sport wheels and a 2.5" lift and 265/70/17 General AT2's and rubbed at full lock in reverse.

A few weeks late but got my 265/75/16 at a local shop. Mounted and balanced with the new wheels as well. Already have 800 miles on them. They are great no balancing issues either. On first rotation I will get them rebalanced just in case. Stock lift for now. Although I have noticed a hit of 3mpg I’ve taken. My air filter has been due, so I changed it today. Let’s see if that helps. I paid $700 all in, a bit steep I know Although I got lifetime rotation and balance plus warranty included. Loving them so far 970C2BF7-5F9C-46D2-819B-34E918CF836F.jpg D0FF0EA6-7CE5-4E0C-A7DC-E9A8C3E918B2.jpg

I just ordered a set from WM, total without mounting and balancing was 463.00. I wasn't sure if I wanted to stay at the OEM size or go up to the 265's. I'm glad to hear you're not having rubbing or balancing issues

DIY hand mounted and balanced these over the weekend. Once I figured out a good process it was about 30 minutes per tire.

My static balancer seems to do a decent job, didn’t notice any vibrations at 80 mph.

I've got 265/70/17s going on today. For air pressure I was thinking I'd start at 35psi, and adjust as/if needed from there. Sound about right?

Ordered 4 265/75/16 sl rated wild peaks yesterday...!!
Went to America’s tire and showed them the offer by Walmart and Amazon for 108.00$... I told them that DTD could beat that price, ship free and no tax.
    Got all 4 for 426.00$.
They traded my spare in and gave me another brand all terrain tire n the same size for 41.00$.
My total out the door for all 5 tires including lifetime warranty was 672.00$.
Not as good as some I’ve seen on here but I was happy with deal.
They ordered them and I should get them installed next week.
