I just got my parts in form my 2018 OR. I decided to go with a rough country 2" front and some Amazon vendor 1" rear. I already have 265/75r16 Wildpeaks hopefully this wont make them look too small.

For an inch block, I personally don't think tapered is needed. I have a non tapered block and no issues what so ever.

Anybody here install an add-a-leaf to attain 1” in the rear? Curious cause everyone seems to go with blocks.

I went with blocks simply due to the fact its cheap and retains the factory ride. I really only use my bed for mountain bikes, kayaks and camping gear so no worries about load weight.

Mine was super close at full droop with 2inch Fox2.0s. I couldn't hit the alignment specs either (caster was less than 1), so I puller the trigger on a set of UCAs 0 toe, 0 camber, and 4.5 caster. It's just about perfect now

Do even the 1” blocks need to be tapered? I went with headstrong for my front shocks and block and they only taper above 2”

I'd be interested to hear otherwise, from my research it helps to maintain driveshaft angle and prevents vibrations.

No one. He likely got 1” of lift after adding the AAL and removing the overload spring.

Im interested to hear otherwise..but an AAL that gives only 1” of lift is a unicorn

sortof stock. 6112/5160, pro wheels and a tune.
Yup, I have those. Actually I’ve used them on two different Tacoma’s. Only thing that sucks is they are actually more than an 1”. 1 1/4” on one end, and 1 3/8” on the other.

Couple years back when I had my 09 Tacoma I ordered icon 2” leveling spacers for the front and I ended up not using them. I emailed icon to see if they’d work with my 18 and they said that they should. I still have them brand new if anyone is interested! Rando google pic for now, but I have both spacers and the hardware included. I believe I paid around 180 bucks.

Weird. I’m exactly one inch higher in the rear than front at center fender.

Bilstein 5100s all around, front set to 4th notch (1.55 inch lift), with 1 inch block in rear. Still have 1 inch of rake which is what I wanted. Decided to have the ECGS bushing installed as well at the same time. My tires are 265/70/17 so this mild lift works well in my opinion. Before and after below.

Still trying to decide if I want to install 1 inch blocks on the rear after installing the TRD Pro Shocks/Struts. Truck has a good stance with the Pro suspension, but the boat does push it down about an inch. The SumoSprings are really nice and do hold it firmly once in contact with the frame. It rides so smooth that I almost hate to mess with it.
