Has anyone tried Cerakote MC-5100Q on shocks?

    I want to add some corrosion resistance to my TRD/Bilstein Baja TX shocks prior to installing. The Cerakote MC-5100Q looks like it would work very well for this.

    We have had shocks cerakote'd and it works very well! Just expensive to coat after the fact.

    I can do it myself, the 5100Q doesn't require heat to dry, it air dries in about an hour and fully cured in 24 hours. I'm concerned with the Bilstein shocks being zinc coated and if that will prevent proper adhesion. I assume the decals would need to be removed prior to applying. I'm waiting for an email from Cerakote regarding compatibility with zinc coating.
