satoshi help :(

so everything was going smoothly until i had to attach the grill, so how did you guys attach it? i was thinking of glueing it, but would look kinda generic

 

zip ties

Zip ties and those little mount things that are right next to them at Home Depot, and some Gorilla glue to attach the mounts to the grille for good measure. Mine have been on for 8 months with no problem.

 

Duct tape

 

The OP from the satoshi how to used two part epoxy and every four inches or so around the outside of the existing grill. Then dropped into each epoxy point those pieces (that the guys above my response said was next to the zip ties @ home depot), followed by attaching zip ties, and cutting the excess zip tie off.

Good luck, and wait 5-10 after you attach the zip tie holders before you secure your mesh on.

Did you cut the heads off the bolts?

 

yea Susan i chopped the heads off, i feel like it could take a baseball and keep going.... make sure to scratch up the plastic b4 u epoxy to make it adhere well enough

 

thanks for all the reply's 2mwr ima start fixing it right up with the epoxy method, n for good measure i'll also use zip ties hopefully everything goes fine

 

hitaco, you really dont need anything more then zip ties, it does not move at all on mine, and I have them spread out every 3-4 inches...but good on you nonetheless.
