You could always use an extra camera operator or videographer. I need to practice my drone skills every chance I get too.

I don't mind spectating either.

When I was doing Boy Scouts with my youngest I bought a "heavy duty" XL cot from Gander Mountain and that was a POS!
The first night I used it the bedding tore along the seam about 18". I returned it, got a replacement and that lasted maybe three nights before it too began to teat and one of the center legs began to collapse.
When I contacted Gander Mountain their response was, to paraphrase, "Too bad. So sad". I bought a HD XL cot from Bass Pro Shops (500# rated) and it is GREAT! The bad thing is - I don't believe Bass Pro carries it any longer.

Well, that cot I posted a link to is coming up with a crazy high price for some reason. The other day on Amazon it was $119. I can get it from ebay cheaper. It gets better reviews on other sites too. I like the idea of storage under it, and that side organization thing. I wouldn't have either with that twin air bed. Not a deal breaker though. I just feel like that air bed would be 100x more comfortable. I could also get away with a sheet/blanket setup instead of a sleeping bag.

I'm going to research the truck bed power outlet for the bed pump. The pump on this bed has firmness settings. It is also designed to maintain that setting automatically, as long as it's plugged in. I just need to be sure I won't drain the truck battery. I also don't want to have to pack a small geni. I'd rather keep things easier overall, be independent from power, and pack less/lighter. The cot is not small by any means. Neither is my tent. The sleeping bags I'm looking at are very large. The one is 16 lbs. It's canvas/flannel. Think warm, comfortable, durable. No pad needed so that's a plus. Would be perfect on the cot.

So I'm still exploring options. But you know me and how big I am so nothing I get will be normal sized. I also require more comfort due to my size and age compared to normal campers. I only want to do this once too, and not have any regrets. I git the perfect tent, thanks to the Skipper, and now I need the perfect sleeping arrangement. The rest will fall into place.

Wait until you see my toilet! :D

For those of you who grease your driveshafts o_O which needle attachment are you using for the 2 zerks on the forward side of the transfer case? I had to struggle with the one I have so maybe it's too thick? (Never thought my excessive girth would be a problem)

Click that link and make it happen! :D

The needle adapter just screws on to the end of my grease gun, which is why I figured a smaller gauge needle would be better. Got a link to one you've used with success?
