I love those hues! It's almost like looking straight down the Great Blue Hole in Belize.

Today, a little vintage 1930s Waltham that was fully restored maybe two years ago or so. I had found this in a pile of broken watches in an antique shop a friend's grandmother owned. Paid ten for it, 130 for the restoration and it's been keeping strong. I'll post a before Pic that's on my computer as well.

That's the before, had a too tiny metal link type watch strap that was kinda neat, but unfortunately missing links and would not fit on my wrist. I suppose, at some point i'll have to restore the one on the left as well.

That's why this makes the perfect watch for camping cause you can tell the time for two hours with that lume.

I just really like that there's so much going on with this face but when the lights go out you get the 12, the 6, and a tiny tick for each other hour. It's quite the transformation, and I like the light blue color. Mine was still faintly visible when I woke up this morning, so it at least survived 7 hours! I will say it has nothing on the neon green explosion coming off the hands of my Orange Monster, though, haha. I could drop that thing to the bottom of the ocean and still see what time it is.

This was the one the Bulova replaces that my mom got me. Wore the same watch (3 different ones over 15 years) loved this one. And of course they don’t make them anymore. I’d buy one in a heart beat.

I love the mudmaster! One of my favorite watches was this guy: https://www.casio.com/products/archive/watches/g-shock/ga1000-4a

The coolest thing about it was all the hour markers and hands were coated in UV reactive coating, and the light was actually a tiny backlight that shot up into the case from the bottom so stuff lit up like the 4th of July. Awesome watch, regret selling it. Will certainly buy another at some point.

1950s Bancor 30 minute chronograph. My watch repair person looked at it, refused to touch it because it was already in clean working condition after sitting in storage since the 1960s. A little rough but it's the only mechanical chronograph in my collection.
