I bought +30hp injectors for the TDI

I really need to buy a Tesla, it’d prevent me from fucking with it.

    I have vehicle modification problems.

I also picked up some por-15 for my bumpers

Whether I go built, or complete, I'm looking at the SBA3 + law tactical, or a PDW stock.

Had a chance to shoot a can a few weeks back, and I was really surprised at how much blow back there was. Swim goggles would have worked great. o_O

you get used to it. I shoot my rifles left-handed, so it's even more "gas to the face." But after shooting suppressed rifles for so long, I rarely ever notice it now. I'll also get done shooting a course of fire (at FNRL for example), and my right arm will be covered in black soot marks from spent cases hitting me. My support arm grip puts my forearm somewhat in the ejection path.

I have no conscious memory of those hot pieces of brass hitting/bouncing off my arm......

Adjustable Gas Block really helps. Always going to get gas due to the nature of the gun though. But being left handed and dealing with the issues @scollins mentioned....it does help (gas wise)

My 300blk is 8.2" (well also have a 16" upper i rarely use)

Friday Night Rifle League. Every (most) Friday at Wade's in Bellevue. $20 after tax. Show up between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM. No membership required, but you do need Wade's liability waiver on file. It's upstairs in the training bay, but check in and payment is made at the front desk downstairs.

Minimum of two runs through the course of fire. A COF is 13 targets (10 rifle, 3 pistol), with a minimum of two shots per target. You'll move from different shooting positions. Run is timed and scored in a "time plus" fashion. The lower your combined time, the better. A Miss adds 5 seconds, hitting a "no shoot" adds 10 seconds. Sometimes we get in 3 or 4 runs, so bring extra ammo.

    Bare minimum equipment:
1 Rifle (5.56, 6.8 and 7.62x39 OK, but nothing more powerful). SBRs, PCCs, 22LRs and braced-pistols are fine.
2 rifle mags (mandatory mag change)
1 Pistol (in a holster, or bring a small case to stage it at the shooting position)
    1 pistol mag
40 rounds of rifle ammo, 12 rounds of pistol ammo minimum.
Ammo restrictions: only brass cased ammo (no steel cased, aluminum cased, etc.) Magnets cannot stick to your bullets (no M855, steel core, steel jacketed, bimetal jacketed, etc.) . Also, Federal Fusion is not allowed (too hard on the backstops.) Why you would use that expensive ammo for this is beyond me anyway...

    Nice to have:
a sling for the rifle (you will transition to handgun during the COF).
    a holster for the handgun
a light on the firearms (the lights are turned down for the 2nd run)
an optic on the rifle (red dot or 4x and under. You could use a 10x scope, but the range is maxed out at 20 yards, so it will be tough...)
A magazine pouch to carry your spare AR mag

Getting close to Tier 1 level:
A red dot on the handgun
a suppressor for the rifle and/or handgun
plate carrier or battle belt with mag pouches, etc.

    Super Tier 1 Baller status:
    PVS-14/-15
    IR light and laser

This actually sounds like fun. Isn’t it an indoors range though?

For reference, I run around throwing bullets with my bare hands wearing a headlamp.

Indoor yes, so it's more like a CQB or house-clearing drill.

Rude rifles (i.e. unsuppressed) are prevalent, so I always "double up" on hearing protection. I run plugs under muffs.....
