    I'm new to the area, and accidentally found this area by looking at google earth. I found an un-gated, no signs entrance at the far west end of the OTT. I was solo so didnt explore too much off the maintained road. I did find one hill at 32.626659, -116.791376 that I definately wont try alone.

    Looking forward to exploring more of the area

    Went down and back up that hill, wouldn't recommend it if you aren't comfortable with your truck's and it's driver abilities.
    The gated entrance is here 32.581967, -116.919063. There's a sign that says "Private road, no truck trail access, use 14615 Otay Lakes Rd" but on a Friday at 11am the gate was open, but Saturday at 1pm it was locked. There's nothing out there for me worth getting a trespassing charge and the Otay Lakes entrance is closer for me.

    Yup, I pass that gate on the way. I'm along 905, so it's closest for me. As I said, there are no signs and no gates. Plus a little steeper and Rocky, and a big water hole if that's your thing

    I'm sure I could drive it, not sure about the truck with 2" lift and 31" AT's though. Like I said, I'd rather have someone at the top to anchor to if I needed to winch a section.
