True, but if AT was the only choice, I wouldn't have a TW account?

I do think it was hilarious how the TSB tune massively improved shifting on my MT.

Same. I expected nothing. Ran it for about a month. It was a huge improvement to the stock tune but I definitely missed the low end power mat has gotten with his tuning

drive it more and you get used to it. I didnt like it at first but after a few hundred miles its either calmed down a little or im used it.

in the future there will be tunes with various tip ins / throttle response but they are not available yet and theres no timeline to availability.

Right on the head. It was a couple whole tanks until I figured it out. It was fun.

I ran 1.04 87, but 1.05 91 is money. Smooth!(cleared learned values) 91 perf was too herky jerky for me (didn't clear tho before).

I'm stock. I avg 19. Sometime get 21 mpg on a good day and sometimes 17 if there is wind.

Waiting for my order to be shipped but I’m leaning on going straight to 91 base. I was planning on going 87 base/performance but now it seems that 91 is where you’ll really “feel” the difference from stock. I just want the best bang for my buck.

When we talk about "clearing learning" is that just disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes?

I didn't do that before flashing from stock --> TSB --> OVTune. Is it worth going and doing now, after a tank of gas on the tune?

Thanks for the help, I totally forgot this might be a necessary step.

Drove 260 miles to northern Wisconsin yesterday with 91 performance. Definitely cruises much nicer at 70 - 80 mph. Holding 6th gear wasn't an issue. At slower speeds definatly wants to lug around with too low of rpm. I know a custom tune for 4.88's with large tires is definitely needed, but it has been a step in the right direction. Looking forward to the much needed improvements when available! Thanks for the hard work and continued progress. I actually see a light at the end of the road now.

I ran 91GL for a lot of miles and it was fine. Switched to 93GL and IMO 93GL was significantly better. The shifting in D is a little better. You can run ECT and D but it won’t downshift so I just use SSP and it runs great especially on the fwy.. The winner for me is GL. Truck is super responsive and torque seems much improved.Don’t have to worry about dead spots in 1-4 gears.5th will accelerate but not like 1-4. Never been in 6th. Truck has 265-70-17’s,DD full exhaust,tb spacer and cai.

Clearing with TechStream. OVT said it isn't necessary unless you have issues.
