I bet the Alabama merchandise is the biggest part of their sales
That's not the point the point is it will affect them just like all the other businesses that rely on Alabama football. Ever hear of the trickle-down theory?

Man I have no idea how the other 49 states survive without Alabama football bringing them so much money. I am mind blown that they arent all dead!! Goodness! At least they dont have tornadoes everywhere else that would cause so much damage because they dont have Alabama football to pay for all the repairs!

Can yall imagine how quickly the US would fall without the amazing economy Alabama football creates for everyone?! Man I bet Alabama football donated all the money that sent us to the moon, or that won us the world wars! What life savers!

You can always tell when people know they're losing an argument they change the subject and get sarcastic. We were not talking about it affecting other states we were talking about affecting Alabama

And it just doesnt affect it that much. The trickle down effect would be people finding other things to support and spend their money on. If you would get some actual numbers to support your claim that the Alabama football program provides so much money to the economy I'd agree with you. But it doesnt. Yes, sports do, but that one program doesn't not keep the state afloat and the state would be unnoticeably different without it. Other than football discussions would be more enjoyable lol

I've already said more than once today that the state of Alabama what exists without them. My point is hoping an out-of-state team wins over an in-state team will not generate more money for the state of Alabama. You have taken so many side roads today I bet your GPS is tired LOL

I'd say alabama football is like the new toyota plant in huntsville.
You guys up there have obviously made it without it, but it would be detrimentle for it to skip out on you guys and go elsewhere. For everything such as the city, the county, and the state.
