Want a great example of what used to help the economy and doesnt anymore?

Slave labor. Used to be a huge driver of the economy. Guess what? It's gone. Guess what? The state of Alabama is better for it, and the economy THRIVED after losing it. Tell me Alabama football has more impact than the slave labor used to. Go for it.

I read that in 2015 to 2016 they brought 2.5 something billion. Compared to Alabamas total of 181.2billion. So a meager 1ish percent. Not enough to impact the ENTIRE STATE.
