Took it in for the 5 month service, asked 2 different service people that worked the desks about the seat belt chime. Both told me no way.

They did some kinda ECU software update.

When the service dude brought my truck out, I told him I wish to hell they would get rid of the chime, he looked shocked and asked if I didn't want it. Told him no...he said I'll be right back and drove back off in my truck. No more fucking chime!

Was walking around the lot checking used Tacoma prices. Fuck me...their asking more for used ones than I paid for mine 5 months ago.

2017 V6 2 wheel drive SR5 with 4 door and a short bed. Sticker price over $4K what I paid for my 2018 AC V6 4x4 long bed.

factory side step, didn't get a chance to do anything to it yet, haven't even got to put it in 4 wheel mode yet. Lame, but I work a lot.
That's crazy on the used prices. I mean I know these trucks hold their value well, but didnt realize it was that well. I hope to get a fair price for my 18 offroad when I put it up in a couple weeks. Totally hate too but life throws you a curve ball sometimes.

Holy crap! My 2018 TRD OR 4x4 cost less than that OTD... and I didn’t even have to haggle. CPO w/ 5k miles on the clock.

What did you pay for yours? Which state. Getting ready to put my 18 off road access cab cement gray up in los angeles, and hoping the prices haven't changed too much. but then again I have 15k hwy miles on mine.

    Right around $34K, Charlotte NC.

Like new with PRO grille, blacked out badges and tail lights, 30mos/31k miles remaining on the factory bumper to bumper warranty, plus the CPO 7/70 Powertrain.

I've always bought cars, trucks, and bikes a year or 2 old to save usually a lot of money over a new one.

Tried that with a Tacoma from non car lots, and most had over 100K miles, and were at least only $5K less than I bought new.

I'd list it for a couple thousand under what you paid, after what I've seen them go for used.

Your's has a shit ton of warranty left too.

Cheapest OR I saw there was $46+. Both had the cool off road tires and the shocks everyone talks about.

I also have the platinum warranty with it so there's that. I'll give the new buyer the option to purchase it, or I can get money back for it if they don't want it.
