What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Alright, first tank of gas after the new tires and new tune was 19.8mpg, which is about 1mpg less than I was getting pre-tune and pre-tires.

Finished front cam.

 

Some goodies showed up today- Timbren Active Off-Road bumps w/ flip kit. These along with the Icon RXT leaf pack are going on the truck in the next few days. Going with option two on the leaf pack to give me about a 1/2" rake.

 

That's not to bad, guess the tune helped as well.

 

Yeah, not too bad. I think the tune offset a little of the mpg loss from the tires. I tuned the night before tires and there was a noticeable difference between stock tires and the Cooper ST MAXX 255/85r16.

That said, the truck will still get up and go now with the tune

 

I bet, so I am assuming for you the tune was definitely worth the money. How hard was it to install??

 

The tune was super easy. The hardest part was getting Windows installed on my Mac with Bootcamp and then sorting a few software issues.

I would recommend it, best mod I've done (which isn't saying much but most agree)

 

Added this awesome custom grille from @Cutting_Edge today. Wicked happy with it!

I think it’s an optical illusion, it may have something to do with the 1/4” spacer up there too throwing you off.

There are so many ideas for mods and upgrades there that I'm probably going to completely drain my accounts on my Taco.

It's kinda hard to say, I used leftover cans from painting my wheels. I'd say it took probably 3 for a solid coat? Possibly 2 if you can stretch it out.
