I’ve been looking at purchasing those DEPO headlights. How hard was the install?

It’s pretty easy...but you have to loosen the front bumper cover and fender flares to gain access to the bottom bolt holding the headlights in...there is a video on YouTube from another headlight company showing installation...I used their video to install the USR lights procedure is the same they had some good tricks on disassembly where to grab and push to pop the clips off without breaking anything. Took me about an hour to change out.

Any chance I can get you to post a link to the video you used to install? Thanks for the info!

Well, it looks like today is going to be the day for me to install these on my Tacoma. I'm pretty sure I have the wiring down I just need to decide where I'm going to tap into. The biggest pain is going to be removing the door panels and running the wires Just waiting for the sun to come up and the temperature to rise a little and it's on. In the mean time it's time for some coffee.

Took me about 5 hours with some stops to review some of the Youtube installation videos but they're on the truck I even dropped my phone and destroyed my screen protector so I didn't take as many pictures as I had planned. IMO they look pretty damn good. Definitely an upgrade from the stock. I like the smoked lens as well. Gives it a sleeker look when the lights are off.

A couple of minor issues that I'm not quite sure about but I suspect they are both related to how I wired the lights. I thought that the white led lights on the mirrors would dim when the headlights were turned on. I am assuming that I need to tap into the DRLs for this to work? Also, now when I touch the drivers door handle to lock the doors the locks actually go through the locking process twice. May be unrelated but it didn't start happening until after this install. No big deal either way just found it interesting.

    Anyway, here's a few pictures.

Pretty sweet but looks very time consuming albeit probably not extremely hard to install. If i didn't already have the meso turns I'd probably have given these a shot.

With my luck some shit would go wrong and take 10+ hours and 2 days to install lol.

I ordered a set of the USRs, spoke to the rep that is on this site as well. Very knowledgeable and customer oriented guy named Erick. Bought the Depo headlights and taillights.. love them.. don’t mind the DRL being out on the driver side, it’s on & working.. when taking a photo is flickers but in person it’s on.. Plan to install mirror lights soon, prob use the write up since I had no clue how to do this lol96816F0F-C4DF-4307-A85F-88F46D4B05D8.jpg776E7986-6C3A-452F-8D35-46978832B3E5.jpg

    Oahu, Hi
Can you let us know how it looks inside, or better yet any plans on making one? I like the clear/non-smoked with a white drl with amber blinkers.
