In all seriousness, my wife and I never have this type of problem. She basically coerced me into buying the truck. We talk about our finances and what we are going to buy, live within our means, save money, and spend a little on ourselves. Neither of us are greedy about how the other spends money.

We also earn about the same amount, which I've often speculated helps us in this regard. Neither of us ever feels slighted.

 

This is a rarity. Best most of us can expect is she musters up enough acceptance she doesn't burn you truck down or leave you.

I'm just telling you that since 1983 shit has not always been perfect but no matter how bad it gets, we are still each other best friend, rely on each other, and stand side by side no matter what.
