I always see a bunch of the same 2nd generations with mods on the 78 freeway (between Vista Village exit and the 5) as I drive to and from work- just wondering if it's any of you guys that are on this forum. Would love to meet other North County Tacoma owners.

I am on the 78 almost daily... My Taco has a bunch of Baja stickers on the back window and two Hella 4000 lights on a chrome light bar in front... Otherwise, it is like other silver DC OR 4WD Tacos (and all 4 mud flaps are removed). There will be stuff in the bed related to my work (irrigation).

What's up JoeTacoma! My truck has a crush on your truck, we did look good riding in line on the 78. :p Do you know if any North County peeps hang out up here or is it just the Fiesta Island meet-up that I always seem to miss?

Ahaha my truck is aite!! Hehe well I just recently joined TW so don't know anyone here really..been on TTORA since 06. Found myself lurking around here the past 2 months so decided to make an account.

I'm sure there are plenty of north county members on here that we can get our own little meet and greet going. You should definately go to the meet and greet if you get a chance..give you a few ideas on mods for your truck cosmetic wise ;)

We can easily have a North County Meet. Actually had a get together with a few trucks in Encinitas at the Island Burger a few months ago.

Any suggestions of a place to meet? What days saturday or sunday?

The one reason we went to Island Burger in Encinitas because the Home Depot expo closed down near it and the parking lot is big and empty. It is off Lucadia Blvd and 5 freeway in Encinitas near the REI.

That is good... I know exactly the place (I am an REI shopper). Otherwise, an outdoor park area or ?? Naturally, I would prefer an off road area... but, we don't want to embarrass any Prerunners like what happened on Fiesta Island, right?

    LOL

NO that is the one at Palomar Airport...this one is a little more inland about 4 exits south. The parking lot is much bigger. The one off Palomar has little or no parking whenever I drive by.

Instead of parking lot, perhaps a place where we can have a nice outdoors day... Some ideas from people would be great. Palomar Mountain or one of the lakes in North County with a park area to BBQ?

If you know of a place. THat is why we have the Lakes meet and the Fiesta Island meets. But no one in the north county ever shows up except for Jake and I
