Asking, with this camera how should the lens be facing with relation to the screw, should the point of the triangle have the lens facing up or down or should the point face down? It appears that the screw may need to be vertical for the lens to be facing correctly, confusedE97282FC-C92B-4DC3-B5BE-01684544DC81.jpg

Face down. The screw stays horizontal, the lens faces a forward & downward angle, the use of it comes from seeing over the crest of a hill or rise; parking obstacle (pole, curb, bumper, wall, etc.); edge of pavement in a 3-point turnaround; etc. etc. etc.
I have one installed in the bottom "v" of my front grill Toyota emblem.
Well, I did. The cheap Chinese one I bought 6 months ago already failed last week and I haven't replaced it yet.

Mine pictured here. Read your instructions. On this camera (helped someone installed this exact one today) there are 2 small colored wires you would cut to reverse the image (make it front facing vs. rear facing) and remove the guide lines. On my Natika camera there is a third wire to cut if you install it upwards/downwards.
