    You can't do it with Techstream. But you can do a ECT on all the time mod (mesojdm sells a plug and play kit) or the TRD Pro Shift Knob stealth ECT Relocation kit also by mesojdm and is plug and play.

    Does the 91 performance tune make more power than the 91 base tune? I know that the throttle response and shift points are different. I just want to know if they make the same torque and power.
    I'm running 91 performance and I just can't appreciate it in slow traffic or in parking lots so I'm thinking of going down to 91 base.

    91 perf def has more power. But I was like you, it was difficult to drive smooth at slower speeds, stop and go traffic. 91 base has plenty of power and is smooth. A good compromise to me and my truck. I'll stay on base until the relaxed tip in version is released.

    Just connect to a hotspot on your cellphone. It won’t take long to update, download a tune and flash it. Also won’t use much data.

    In your defense, in the instructional video it does say to take your laptop out to the truck before it tells you to download the tune. I did this as well and got the error message because I didn’t have an internet connection inside my truck. Took me a second before I had the I’m an idiot moment. You won’t need an internet connection after you’ve downloaded the tune though.
