If you know the model ( like mk 1, 2 ect.). Just do a google search for that model number serial number. It will tell you the date it was made.

I have a bull barrel one like that but its the shorter barrel. I think mine is a newer 22/45 model I havent shot it in a while.

 

Went down to the local range and finally pattern tested some reloads at various powder charges in my SBR a couple days ago. This was at 50 yards but for .300BLK out of a 10.5in barrel and a 3x optic with 3moa dot I'm pretty satisfied with the results.


Now I just need to test some ammo with the .300BLK pistol. Looks a little silly with the scope on it but I kinda like it. Reminds me of the old Transformers cartoon where Megatron transformed into a big pistol with buttstock and scope. For the sake of testing the reloads I am more concerned with maintaining a consistent point of aim rather than where I am actually hitting and I'm not good enough with the normal iron sights I have on there to accomplish what I want. I might keep it this way for a bit though because the look is kind of growing on me.

 

Solid groups! What velocities you pushing that 110?

 

I don't have a chrono so I can't say for sure. Per my reloading book they should be around 2000fps to 2200fps but that is assuming a 16in barrel so I'm likely a bit below that in the 10.5in.

Just picked up a .22 WMR Marlin bolt action. My first .22 mag...

 

Calculating the SD for small sample size doesn't really give any useful informarion. Are you tracking hundreds of rounds of vel data? Or just 5 shot sample sizes? I just calculate ES and call it a day.....

 

Just small samples. I mainly note it because the crono displays it.

is a couple 15 and 25 round factory 10/22 mags all too much to ask for....

unfortunately those butler creek mags never run as well as the ruger bx-25 mags...

Anyone hear about the mag capacity stuff in CA? I just ordered a 30 rounder for my Mini 14, a 17 round mag for my G17, and a 33rd Glock mag, probably gonna use that most in my little G26.
