Anyone available to help with some wrenching tomorrow? I mentioned a few days ago that I'd be putting in some work this weekend if anyone wanted to hangout. My buddy that I was expecting to come help just called and said he's caught the creeping crud and isn't going to make it, so if anyone is available that would be awesome.

@boogie3478 This could be prime YouTube footage to showcase gussetted spindles and the 4Runner brake upgrade.

I could do Sunday if that works better, but it's supposed to be 15 degrees cooler and there's a chance of rain. The big thing that I need help with is bleeding the brakes.

@crashdb What work are you doing to your truck? If I didn't have the dash torn apart right now, I'd come up.

Rock lights to start with. If my parts show up I'll be fixing my brake line screw up. Sucks you have the dash apart. I have an air bleeder.

Yeah. It was a semi productive day.

I bought a new toolbox yesterday because my old one was overflowing, and I moved the excess from the old to the new.

    20190328_200624.jpg

After the movers came to see how much crap I have, I tried installing a new stereo, but I need a different dash kit to make it fit. Unfortunately, what I need ships from China, so it may not got here before I move.

Next was checking the wiring of my PLX gauges and MAP-ECU3. I got the gauge that wasn't working going and the MAP-ECU3 wiring is correct, so I must have a setting wrong that's keeping the cruise control from working. I didn't bother dragging my laptop out to check it.

Last inside bit was installing a speedometer calibrator. I ran out daylight, so I'll work on finishing that in the morning.

Very productive! Is the HF the new box? I'm curious to know how it holds up. I've outgrown my current box and don't want to spend tool truck money. HF seems to have made a ton of quality improvements lately. I've been looking at their 72 inch box.

They're the current models. They're definitely hefty. The combined weight of both is over 300 pounds. I misread the weight on the cartons as pounds instead of kgs. I thought I was losing my mind moving them around.

I have the 56" and love it. All reviews I've seen of the 72" have the same experience. They have a lot of bang for their buck.

I probably wouldn't recommend it for professional daily use, but for home use, they are very good.

Also heard good things about boxes from StrictlyToolboxes too.
