It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's an old disco, those guys already have to go through major mental gymnastics to keep one of those around, orange is just a sign of the anguish within.

I'll snap a pic of this white 3rd gen I see frequently. Then you can tell me which you prefer.

Not blasphemous at all, I'd kill for a 2nd gen DC short bed 4x4 TRD OR w/6speed in Spruce Mica. I'd do blasphemous things for one.

i've been lazy. usually pick up 2 of these kits when they're at Costco. Love that quick detail waterless wash/wax spray bottle.

Ah lame, yeah if I ever win the lottery or move somewhere more affordable in the future I'd pick a used one up for a family vehicle. Keep my 1st gen for weekend duty and harder stuff

The rear end of the runners after the 3rd gen are liabilities when wheeling, they hang super low and are integral to the body design. The newest runner is basically a supermarket on wheels

I'll say it again, if the budget would allow - a new tacoma would be sitting in the garage and the 1st gen would be in the driveway. If not new, 2nd gen would be next. say... 2009 - 2012 perhaps

I still see one taco this color in the summer time around here. It was a 1 year color. It doesn’t look half bad in person.

For the difference in price. (And the fact the new taco had a cars engine) I’d just buy a tundra.
