Is this the correct part? Eibach 112-620?

I paid a ship to install a Toytec 3” Bilstein kit. First, they messed up by putting it on the third notch instead of the second. But, I’m wondering if they used the wrong coils.

Do these look like Eibach 112-620? I thought they were silver. I can’t find any markings on them.

Not the shock I’m concerned about. The coil.

 

How much lift did you get and what eibach coils were supposed to go on

 

If the truck looks like what you wanted and you payed what yu wanted then you didn’t get ripped off.... somebody else was willing to do the job you didn’t want to do yourself.... I like to do stuff myself to insure it’s the way I want....

 

Dude, I work 60-70 hrs per week and have 3 kids. You can buy stuff but you can’t buy time. I buy these services because it’s as close as I can get to buying time.

I got over 3”. I was supposed to have Eibach 112-620 from the Toytec 3” Bilstein Kit.

 

Some jobs as this one is best left to a shop with correct tools

Just paid to have my stock coils swapped out to OME 886's

Charged me $255...not a job for the average Joe

Upon reassembly they set the 5100's at -0-......sits 37.75" at wheel well

hay there "Big Red One" imo I think you got wacked they don't look like what you paid for (Eibach 112-620),are there any ##s on the springs ? I could be wrong .

 

The correct lift coils should be able to get 3” of lift without being on the third notch. The whole point of buying coils is to avoid preloading for lift.

I have no idea if you got screwed but it sounds like you did not get what you want. I also work 60 hours a week and have 2 kids. Time is money, but sometimes you actually save time by managing these things directly.

A good compromise is to source your own parts and bring them to the shop. Did they give you back your stock parts?

 

You let the shop order them? Get the paperwork.

Did you get a receipt ?

Are the part numbers on it? Go to the website and check out the coil on line - compare w what you have. Check the coil for any identifying numbers or marks.

If you’re concern the lift is higher than you expected, remember they settle a bit.

Buyer beware. Do your homework next time. I understand your time crunch however a bit of research reaps significant gains. It’s not like your the first person to get a lift.

Ok. I figured this out. The shop ordered through Eibach and not Toytec. Same spring, different branding. Spring rate is the same. But they did put it in the wrong notch. They’re going to fix that. I hope this helps someone moving forward.
