    nice! thats what I was thinking the only GOOD possible reason;) Hey if you ever go to Whiteright they have a good BBQ place there. Its a little hole in the wall place but Ive ate there a couple times visiting friends near there. I know theres a ton of places in TX but thought I'd mention it if you were ever in that area.

    Grilling is where I got my start, too! You'll pick it up quickly - then it is a long, slow journey towards the ever elusive perfection. At least you get to eat the practice along the way. :rofl:

    I did baby back ribs for my first. Pretty forgiving and not a super long cook so it was a good practice round.

    What kind of smoker did you end up getting? As far as meats the first one I did on my new smoker was pork ribs, can't go wrong with ribs even if they end up a wee bit tough they are still good.
