    with Falken 255/80-17 AT3W

Slight rubbing under compression, here, but not enough to lose the flaps.

VERY happy with the look, but having a love/hate relationship with the ride.. The handling is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.. Corners like it's on rails... virtually no body roll and it jumps off the line. BUT.. the trade-off is the ride.. This setup is WAY stiffer than the factory TRDSP suspension (hence the handling, I know). 90% of my driving is city, and this rig does not do well with small bumps, manhole covers, tracks, etc. I ran it for a few days on the factory wheels and it was completely nasty. The E-rated Falkens actually helped a lot because of the extra rubber / diameter, but when they start to wear, I know it's going to get nasty again. She's a road queen, so I'm debating swapping the 5100's out for 90021 OME Nitrochargers. If anyone has thoughts on that, I'm all ears... I'm cool with sacrificing some handing for a little "plush".

    and pffft....

I'm on 887's and the 90021's and I'd say the ride on the street is pretty close to the stock off road suspension (as far as small bumps go.) Never been in a sport so can't compare to that. I also did the HS AAL and the back is noticeably stiffer when empty. If you're not going off road you might have been better off with blocks back there for ride quality. Either way, truck looks great!

Looks great! I like the fit of the new sized 255 Falkens.

Thanks! Very happy with the tires, so far. The traction is not quite as good on the street as the factory Toyos, and they're just a little louder, but that's to be expected.

Decided the 5100's were too firm.. swapped them out for OME 90021/60091 this morning. Ride is very close to the stock TRD SP. Sacrificed some handling for some "plush", but I think it was a good trade considering almost all of my driving is city.

What I DIDN'T count on was losing about 3/4" of lift in the front. Now it rubs bigtime and my perfect rake is effed. Spacers in my near future, I guess.

Looks great! Do you have a shot from the front? Is it rubbing on the mudguards or something else? Considering the 255/80 for my next set.

Thanks! It's rubbing on the mud guards... I'll post more pics when I get my lift back to where it was.

Probably a dumb question (still learning suspension components) but wouldnt the 887s without any added weight up front also be causing the stiffness?

So here's what happened.. 5100 spring seats are "overhung". The spring seat actually rests below the adjustable collar on the shock. OME 90021 spring seats are supposed to sit above the shock collar. So... If you're a tech that's never installed OME's and you're replacing 5100's, and there are no instructions with the shocks, you might just install the OME spring seat upside down. That's what happened yesterday.. Loss of lift because the coils were sitting lower on the shock and because of the reduced pre-load, the much softer ride.

I can happily say that the ride is now awesome. Exactly what I wanted. I actually didn't sacrifice any handling and the OME's are softer over bumps. They feel like a "refined" version of the 5100's.

Related question...do you have a head on shot of the truck? I’m moving up from the 265/70’s and considering 255/80’s, but wanted to see how the difference in width looks. Would be sticking with the AT3W. Thanks.

Looks good . Caster is backwards, passenger side should be greater than drivers side.

Thanks. Wasn't actually going for cross caster, or I would have asked for 0.5 the other way. It drives nice and straight.

Sorry, I meant head in the entire front of the truck, I wasn’t super clear. Something like this:
