    Well after 7 years of road grime and off road grime, the engine bay is looking pretty good. Dual battery setup next weekend. Northstar batteries will be here Tuesday.

    The gun thing? So I had no fun when I did mine. Either the skin was bent wrong or it got jacked up when I had it Line-x'd. The 1/4 20 bolts weren't cutting it so I wallowed the holes out and tried M8 bolts. They worked until a rivnut broke loose. I'm up to M10 now.

    Yes, the gun thing. I’m used to pop rivets but the rivnut gun is different...lesson learned. If a pop happens with rivnuts it’s not a good thing. The manual method was just too labor intensive...I found myself craving beers afterwards, I actually set a couple of them manually!
