shifting lights disappeared and eco thing on screen. Hard to shift between park and drive etc... I guess as it gets worse the car won't shift at all and you can get stuck in gears. Threw some light codes on dash as well.

Ended up getting basically $100 off from the dealer just cause the guy was being nice, no coupon or deal. I think he said he had some extra coupon codes or something I dunno. Either way, better than nothing. Car drives like new again so it was the issue.

That sucks .We've had literally not one issue with my wife's 5th gen t4r. Just rolled over 100k in it too.

Was it something that you could have done in the driveway?

I’m not sure how they are installed, I’m sure it’s technically something I could have done, the part was like $340 and they charged me an hour labor pretty much, so the part was the problem, not really the labor.
He said the piece is attached to the outside of the transmission and is subject to potential abuse from mud, rocks etc...

We are at 48k and this is only thing besides fluid changes. Happy with it and plan on getting to at least 100k. By then the new redesign will be out for a year or two and the Bronco as well. Those are the two most likely replacements

Swear I get the best luck at Firestone. So swapping winter tires for new Nitto Terra Grappler G2s for the summer. So I marked the sidewall I wanted facing in (literally wrote “inside” with white paint marker) and told the guy about it. Also had them do an alignment check since I have the lifetime alignment on the 4Runner.

Should have learned my lesson from my winter tires adventure since it took them 4 try’s on the alignment then.
Well anyways everything gets done and I head out, steering wheel is now cocked to the left like 15-20 degs (very notciable). Doesn’t have a pull so I figure I’ll just deal with it later since I have a bunch of earands to run. Walking back up to the car later on I notice that one of the tires was mounted wrong. So now my OCD is all kinds of tweaking out since there’s something on the outside messed up and on the inside with the steering wheel. Call them up and complained and now have to head back in tomorrow morning to hopefully have it all straightened out again

Big mod for me today lol. Next weekend the OME lift I get to install woohoo. Tires are on and they rub like a son of a gun, cannot wait to get this lift done and do some real trails.

On a side note @aidenhardcore is looking for some help installing his lift and will pay you for your help. Can anyone help him or reccomend any good shops in the area?
