One more pic. Got myself high centered and this is when I learned my winch wouldn’t work. Good times.

 

My money is on a winch solenoid..that's what it was for me at least

 

Was it something you were able to fix for free or did you need a new solenoid?

What’s weird is as I was plugging my controller in, I jumped a few pins on accident and the winch moved. Done that plenty of times. So I know the motor and stuff is good. And we tested someone else’s winch controller, so it’s not that. Checked battery connections, those are solid. It has to be solenoid related.

Right just because your an ambassador or hang out/friends with the armor manufacturer doesn't mean you get shit fo free. They gotta eat too!

 

They're cheap you can use an old ford style starter solenoid like from a 60s-80s pickup or car. They aren't attached to the starter on them so they work. I would get one for the biggest truck with the biggest motor. Let's say a 70s era 1 ton with a 460 BB those starters drew a lot of amps so the solenoid is beefier. You can get a few of them and keep them as spares. Pro tip they also work for a lot of older outboard engines and can adapt to have a remote style solenoid on chevy starters.

It’s nice. Still working out the kinks, but they’re working hard. For example you couldn’t buy that bumper right now because the freight calculator is fucked up.

 

Didnt get that far just a peak at the price debating upon hc, plate or with tubes, or swingout n options.
