How broken is it? If anything fell into the diff, your gonna have to open it up and clean it out. I can't imagine that is fun on.

Nothing fell into the diff i had a bag stiffed behind it and i used a magnet to pull every little peice out but now the needle bearing case is cracked im not sure if the removal tool will be able to pull it out if i put it in right.

I still have mine, and can measure whatever you need, but it would be Saturday or Sunday at the very earliest.

Can you take a picture? Mine came out in pieces, couldn’t believe how tight it was in there, actually bent the removal tool.

If you grind the back side of the plate on the removal tool you can get it back behind the needle bearing more easily.

I have my OG intact let me see if I can find it and throw a caliper on it ADK.

When you get the new one, grind the far side flat edges like this.....

    20170916_224645.jpg

Do not grind off anything on the outermost edges and reduce the width of the tool.

Ground like the above pic, and it will slip right into place, seat behind the bearing easily, and still have the proper strength and dimensions to get a bite on the bearing and pull it out. Prior to grinding mine, I could not get it into place no matter what I tried, and was not inclined to try and tap it into place for fear of breaking off a piece of bearing race.

So does anyone have the removal tool that they would like to sell? $45 is a bit steep, figure if you only do this once and can sell for half price and make some money back its a win. SO any sellers?
