@mesojdm have you thought of accessories for this? Whether it be films that change the color, or a cutout to have a design come out? :notsure:

Generally true but to be fair he did say hopefully near the end of March.. So people are mostly curious it seems since we didn’t get another update since hearing that.

I have no problem waiting however much longer, it’s just nice to have a general idea so my girlfriend doesn’t give me more crap than she already does for being on here so often, lol.

I'm working a set of puddle lights for my truck , I'm sure they will not be as fancy as meso lights . But I have found where to wire them in at . I'm using the cargo light circuit because it turns on when you push the unlock button on the key fob , the interior lights do not light up . Also the cargo light lights up when the door is opened and stays on after its closed for a few seconds .

Here is where I tapped into the wire harness . It's the back of the cargo light relay . the center relay and it's the light green wire see the picture ( you can get to it from behind the left switch panel ) It would be easy to make a plug in tap to do this , it just needs to be the same as the relay base . I think the hardest part is going to be feeding the wires from the door back inside of the truck ( inside of the bellows )
This is the lights I'm going to try https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ADHUXGU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It’s cool that you’re working on this, but keep in mind that the lights in comparison are squirt gun(.5w/18 lumens) versus garden hose (5w/516 lumens). I think you will quickly be looking for something better. It is cool though that you found another way.

Yeah I know the lights will not be as bright , Sadly I don't have a 3d printer or the knowledge of how to use one . But I do know that I could add extra lights under my sliders . Mostly I wanted to share my idea of what circuit to wire the lights into . I think that will be the most useful info that I shared .
I'd be more then happy to buy a set of the meso puddle lights, but as many of us have found out trying to be one of the lucky few to get his awesome products sometimes feels like trying to win the lottery.

That’s a good guesstimate. The custom VLED lights should be done pretty soon, as well as my custom plug and play harnesses. The mold is taking a little longer because I decided to give priority to my minimalist key fobs instead. So hopefully I’ll have some more solid updates soon:)

Predator steps, TRD cat-back, lots of orange stickers.
Awesome news, thanks for the update. I've got a set of V4's on their way, and my goal is to only take the mirrors apart once. Makes sense these would follow soon after.
