Need to get a good bumper next and make some sliders so it can be fully utilized.
Decisions on what bumper to get...ARB, Demello, Relentless.....

This was a really big deal for me. I had to hold off until I could afford it and ordered it on a 20% off sale. This will be the ticket for us as it frees up bed space and when we have our tiny camper hooked up I can still access the bed because the swingouts are so mch shorter. Eddy makes a great product with a fast turn around. It is deffinately worth the wait.

The same shit everyone else has.
Tweaked the ditch light mounting brackets.

Redrilled the mounting holes 1/2” lower.

    Typical 4 Litre,

Been putting off fixing the horrible bearing whine for a month now. Ended up buying the Gates kit from @RockAuto

There was no way I was changing out the full tensioner so I just did the pulley. Pretty simple job, best way to get it done is from the bottom. Truck is back to being quiet and no longer sounds like the power steering pump is blowing up. Original pulleys lasted 175,000 miles, they didnt start making noise until I hit a huge puddle at 45mph (abs & trac light turned on aswell). I feel like they may have had more life.

SOS front I got the aluminum with full hoops but they all look the same other than you have your choice of no hoops, a single hoop, a singal hoop with supports, or full hoops. They're pretty streamlined yet provide a great place to mount a winch and allow good access to it. If you are going to mount a winch I humbly suggest you also get the tie in brackets that go over the outside bumper bolts and back further on the frame for more support.

Eddy also sells frame reinforcing plates that beef up the frame where the bumper attaches. These are weld on plates but you also upgrade your mounting hardware to 1/2" grade 8 hardware.

And the bumper itself is pretty darn beefy

I made my own reinforcing plates and the frame brackets are from another vendor neither of which are absolutely neccessary but for winching they are some added insurance. Keep an eye out @SOS CONCEPTS has some great 20% off sales a few times a year which save alot. If you wish to contact him do it via email as this is a small shop that turns out alot of work and Eddy is usually working and doesn't answer the phone due to the noise. He responds to emails usually within a day.
