Got my five channel ********* amp with JL Audio stealthbox. Very happy with sound. Had an issue with front speakers at first but after talking with Rob from ********* it's good to go. 80x4 rms and 350x1 rms. Not bad for factory looks.

Well still no audio controls at steering wheel, back up camera, or Bluetooth. Everything else works. Not really sure what's going on with that. Still looking into that.

Well I didn't have it finished yet. The install is done and nothing hooked up from the ********* harness would cause this as it's only the speaker level inputs and outputs. The power wire to battery and ground wire is like a traditional amp. There is an issue with the circuit that runs what I'm not getting. I'll keep digging away to find it. Just thought someone had this problem before.

I can't do anything, but give you advice.
Check all the connections on those connectors. Pull them off one by one a d check all the pins.... you may have damaged one or more of them.

That's all i am trying to do is help ya.
No need to validate what you are doing. Take the good and ignore the stupid unhelpful answers. You will do better. Once you start validating and defending you shoot yourself in the foot here. It's your truck, a mod you want to do. Leave it at that and give as much info about the problem as you can. Step by step. Remember we aren't there looking over your shoulder or double checking your work. All we have to go on is what an OP tells us.

It was the harness that fell down in the HVAC duct. Took me a bit to fish it out but all is good now. Wasn't 110% yesterday as I just got back from Orlando. Been fighting a bad cough to boot. Thanks again and I'm sorry if I seemed snappy.

Sure. Definitely disconnect the battery completely before you unplug anything just to be on the safe side. Especially when you pull the front seat.

Also take pictures of all your pre-existing harnesses just so you don't get them mixed up or miss anything. The ********* is a great system. It's a little pricey but everything truly is plug-and-play as you only have to run your ground wire and your power wire to the battery.

If you're not planning on adding an aftermarket radio it is the way to go. Sounds really good too you would never think that it was just a factory head unit hooked up to an amp. I love that it goes under the front seat where it doesn't take up any room and you don't even see it.

Lastly, be very careful with the pin connectors coming from the head unit if you get too rough with it you can bend those.

I have the same set up with the subaru tweeters and CS kickers all four doors and love it. It really looks like factory option and sounds awesome. I'm thinking of trading my 2017 trd sport for a 2020 off road and i believe that the 2020's come with JBL audio. If that is the case i will be selling my sound system.

Your right there. On my power wire I went underneath the seat grommet and ran it up along the frame up into engine bay zip tied and wrapped. That way I didn't have to drill holes in body.

I secured the fuse holder in the plastic that is above the fuse box. I also used wire loom just in case

Finally got around to installing the bass knob. Took me a long time because there wasn't really a good place to mount it that wasn't in the way or looked tacky. Plus needed it somewhere if I was driving I could easily reach it. Anyone on the fence about upgrading their sound system that plans to keep their factory unit the ********* is certainly the way to go. Even if you have to replace the factory unit you could still use an aftermarket radio as it's all speaker level inputs that controls it.

What amp and wire harnesses did you get from *********? Also, how much did just the amp, amp rack, harnesses, and sub cost? If you dont mind me asking.

Sure no problem. I got the five channel amp with the harness that goes with it. The amp rack is made for two amps so if you decide to go with the 4-channel and a mono amp you can do that. For the subwoofer I went with the JL Audio stealthbox because the ********* you'll have to remove your plastic paneling in the back. I wasn't too crazy about doing that on a new truck. It was a little pricey but well worth it. I wasn't looking for anything to blow the doors off of Fort Knox I just wanted something to sound good and very clear.

    Five channel amp 259.00
    Amp rack 70.00
    Harnesses 71.00
    Amp hook up kit 42.00
    Stealthbox 750.00
    Kicker CS 6x9s and 6.5s 220.00
    Suburau tweeters 100.00
