So I've been watching videos the last 3 days to stave off boredom ( been raining and cold). I know the various car review sources generally dislike the Tacoma, no news there. But watching TFL videos brings me to my point. In every video, the Tacoma does well, even excels at times, yet they continually find something to bitch about. The last video I watched pitted a modded Wrangler against a stock TRD OR. From what I saw on the video clips provided, the OR did just as well as the Jeep if not a hair better. Yet the one reviewer in particular still rags on the Tacoma. Often times in these videos the other vehicle has tires that are more suited to the terrain than the stock tires on the Tacoma yet this is rarely mentioned, just that the Tacoma "struggled" to get up/over/through the obstacles. I know this all is nothing new or earth shattering here, I just find the anti Tacoma bias humorous.

I enjoy watching the guys from TFL and I honestly think that they are right about the most thinks they don't like and maybe it is their way to convince Toyota to appropriately update the tacoma for this century.

There's a channel that pits the ZR2 against the Tacoma, I won't mention which but it has been posted here... the guys on it seem like alright nice guys, but they fail to mention in the ZR2 video that MTS is disabled on the Taco. Their other videos are a lot like this, the ZR2 "wins" almost every time on some kind of technicality or simply by matter of opinion. It recently came to light in a past video that the channel operators are also selling the ZR2.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you.

There alot of videos against all trucks. Non Toyota fans will bash them in the Reviews and we all know it when we see it. There is one I watched where two guys compared a 4runner to a forester lol. And all they did was praise the forester in everything pretty much. Tfl guys do a good job. Best to watch reviews of any vehicles from the people who own them.

Figured, thanks. I'll check it out. From my experience it's not uncommon to find heavily biased brand comparisons on the Ytube, be it trucks or tea-pots.
