Did you find the new “Randy’s Scratch, Dent, & questionable welding” corner? Good discounts and all sales are final.

Looks like that Warn solenoid won't work, but my winch has a 3 year electrical warranty on it. I'm going to pull it apart and make sure that's the issue, and see if they'll send me a new piece. The replacement part is $100 and I would like to avoid buying that.

Jesus. I reached out to Warn about sending me a replacement solenoid. The warranty for them is for everything BUT the solenoids. Go figure. At least they confirmed the part number for me and then I ordered it.

I honestly has no idea how it broke the way it did, but cheap enough to replace I guess when needed.

wtf well that's ridiculous. Mine just states 3 year on electrical, but I haven't read the fine print yet. We'll see.

Good man. Just a heads up though, you'll be using your shocks as limiting straps so you may prematurely break them. I'm running 12" shocks and a relocate and still had to add limit straps. That's a flexible set up for sure!

edit: also, these are OEM shackles, but empty. No bushing in them. They're sold as a pair, and it just saves you the hassle of having to cut your stock bushings out.

This definitely helps Jerry. Thank you. Wonder why the pics aren't showing up.......

So for the 3rd Gen, I'm removing all existing cross members it seems like. The two that OEM skid hangs on, and the two frame supports for the tranny skid area.

And the transfer case skid support bracket bolts to it on the inside, not the outside correct? Does the longer portion of the ends of that support go forward or towards the rear?

Shit! I'm sure I can figure this all out with enough trial and error........

What I found for you is based on the html code and doesn't include the pictures. I suppose with the new web site the older content may not be in the same location on their servers file system. I think you have the right idea.

Yea, I'm getting a 404 error when I hit links on the web. Bummer.

I remembered @boogie3478 posting this pic for his fluid chang vid

    20190325_151334.jpg

So that answers my questions about the transfer case skid support.

    Huge help.

Gonna start and see what happens. Worst I can do is drop the transmission on my face. :p

Mine didn't budge at all when the skids were dropped, but have some jack stands or a floor jack under just in case.
