Here we go, much better than my earlier choice. This is a damn fine beer from one of my favorite breweries.

As a foreigner, I like Pilsener but had a chance to try so many varieties in the States. I am always open to the new tastes. But, still prefer Pilsener.

The one problem with brewing is that I now have so much beer to drink and still so many beers I want to try whenever I'm at the store. So the obvious conclusion is whiskey.

Hit up a new brewery that opened up last weekend 22 min north of the house. They had 12 taps, and unfortunately 5 were sour variants and they had kicked 3 others... I tried 2 out of the other 4.

I tried one of their tropical hazy ipas and one of their milkshake ipas. The 1st was just ok, but the milkshake ipa, with mango and apricot, was exceptional!

Also peeked into their brew room and saw some buffalo trace barrels being put to good use... Looking forward to those before too long!

Any Hudson NY area beer drinkers ever been to Old Klaverack Brewery?
Thinking of hitting it up and seeing what they are all about.

Missus and I stopped by a local taproom last night. My pick for the night was an IPA that had been aged in Treaty Oak gin barrels. A growler followed us home.

It was a trade with a buddy of mine. I for sure wouldn’t have bought it based on the name, but all OH beers are awesome.

    Also, no broccoli haha.
