I did this to my 2015 an no luck hooking it up to my pioneer headunit. Camera goes on in reverse but no picture. Thought I may have damaged the camera somehow an replaced it with no luck. Think I may have to go with an aftermarket camera an try to mount in the tailgate handle like the oem

I also did the 3 connections like the video showed. He said his was a 2014 mine is a 2015. Didn’t think it would make a difference. Red to inner positive a/v cable. White an bare to ground a/v cable. Black wire to switch power (red wire from radio) nothing. I also tested the continuity of each wire to the tailgate camera. All good. Also when in reverse there is 12v at the blue wire at the camera switch. I’m all out of ideas. Really need some help

So I'm trying to get the pinout for the factory reverse camera harness that plugs into the factory radio. I want to know what the 4 wires are. According to this guy in the video here is what I was able to extract.

    Red Wire - Camera Positive
    Black Wire - Camera Ground
    Bare Wire - Camera Ground
White Wire - Voltage Positive for Camera

I'm pretty sure that's not right. I know there are the following wires, I just don't know which color is which.

    -Camera 12v Power
    -Camera Ground
    -Video (+)
    -Video (-)

    Who can help me?

I followed this diagram from someone on here. Can’t remember who... Just spliced right in. Keeps the camera in the rear view mirror, but you get some horizontal distortion. Not terrible, especially for how long you actually use it at once.

I also use an android head unit, OBDII with the Torque App and use an Apple CarPlay adapter.

I should mention I have the 2014 no JBL radio. My reverse cam is in the radio, not in the rear view mirrior.

After installing the aftermarket radio to your camera, do any of y'all still get those yellow and red lines on the screen to show the distance between the vehicle and the wall.

I still haven't found the time to pull the radio back out to fix the reverse cam. There's only 4 wires, how hard can it be? Not sure yet if the distance markers will still be there after, my guess is probably not. I'll keep you posted.
