Saw this truck today in Bellevue

 

@ysbohle - that was me...one of the best days at Crystal in years! Wish I could have popped the tent and skied Th but Crystal treats rooftop tents the same as RVs, which makes it tough.

 

It's been a fun few weeks up there! I was there again today. I learned the hard way not to use the ebrake in the winter I spent a good hour trying to figure out what was going on lol.

Just a heads up, there’s camping around Ranger Creek airport / Buck Creek campground just off 410 before you come to the road up to Crystal Mountain. I’ve not camped there in the snow but there’s options that are just off the highway that I’m told are open.

 

The 70 road is sometimes a better bet (or any of the lower FS roads). Lower elevation and often times much warmer.

Not from the region, but thought I’d share a couple of pics of our cousins the Diesel Hilux that I saw in Thailand. Lots of them everywhere. I also saw a lot of the new Ford Rangers with the Raptor style grille. Good looking rigs.

Kind of wish we had a diesel option here.

 

If Toyota put that diesel in the Tacoma, I'd be going and talking with the dealership tomorrow. I think MPG is something around 36.

 

Who was at the 24H Fitness at Mall 205 today at about 1:30?

 

What part of Thailand was this in? Just went there two months ago and rented a 2018 Hilux while there. Was great but seemed like most trucks were 2wd there. Only a hand full of older lux's. Nice rigs though.

 

This was on Ko Samui. These were rigs that took the lazy tourists up to one of the waterfalls on the island.

 

As slow as they were moving, I first thought the Toyota was pushing the semi. But then I realized the Toyota didn't have anyone in it

This was heading west on 212th St coming up to the intersection with 84th (Central/East Valley) in Kent.

 

There's probably not a lot of people on here from the far East side of Washington but I spot this nice build by panda express in Moscow Idaho. I didn't get a picture of the front but It had what seemed to be a relentless bumper with a winch.

 

I'm in Spokane. Been seeing alot of nice first and third gens running around lately. Not w whole lot of 2nds.

Thank goodness I did not end up here while my truck was being towed to the mechanic after deciding to devour it's own serp belt last Tuesday.
